Why This Book
Is Different
I didn't write this book as a tennis coach.
I wrote it as a student of human behavior.
Long before Beyond the Game, I spent years studying self-awareness, emotional patterns, personality, decision-making, and the psychology behind human performance. Those same ideas became the foundation of workshops, presentations, and conversations with corporate audiences, leaders, and professionals.
When my son entered competitive tennis, I began recognizing those same patterns on the court. It became clear that performance was shaped by far more than technique alone.
This isn't a book about tennis technique.
It's a book about the invisible forces that shape performance.
The tennis court became
my laboratory.
Beyond the Game is the result of years of observing one athlete's journey while studying the psychology behind performance under pressure.

Why does wanting to win make us lose?
That simple question became the beginning of years of observation, research, and ultimately Beyond the Game: The Hidden Factors That Influence Your Tennis Performance.
Drawing on years of observing competitive tennis—and years spent studying human behavior before entering the world of competitive sports—she explores why talented athletes sometimes perform below their abilities and how greater self-awareness leads to stronger confidence, sharper focus, and more consistent performance.
Although inspired by tennis, the principles explored in Beyond the Game extend far beyond the court. They apply to business, leadership, parenting, and everyday life—where the same hidden patterns shape confidence, decision-making, and performance.
